The exhibition GRANDA<\/strong>, which concludes the 2024-25 Atelier programme<\/strong> of Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia and Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, arrives in the new exhibition space<\/strong> of the Casermette at Forte Marghera with a renewed display, conceived to highlight the unique historical setting and to bring together all 27 artists in residence between Venice and Mestre.<\/p>\n

United in a new perspective and actively involved in the regenerative process of spaces returned to the community, the artists present a large\u2011scale group show that foregrounds the plurality of contemporary art languages, spanning different practices, generations and sensibilities. The exhibition is also an opportunity to showcase the richness of the research developed in the fifteen Venetian ateliers and in the thirteen studios of the Emeroteca dell\u2019Arte.<\/p>\n

Accompanying the works is the exhibition catalogue<\/strong>, which brings together images of the first installation in Venice – staged between the Gallery in Piazza San Marco and Palazzetto Tito – of the ateliers and the works on display, alongside critical texts and further materials. The photographs, by Giacomo Bianco and Nico Covre, are paired with the graphic design by the Venice\u2011based studio b.r.u.n.o, resulting in a publication that fully reflects the visual identity of the residency.<\/p>\n
