The State Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg holds one of the greatest collections of Venetian art in the world. How did so many masterpieces come to Russia?
The guided tour within the exhibition will answer this question. It will allow visitors to appreciate paintings and drawings by artists such as Tiziano, Veronese, Tintoretto, Bellotto, Canaletto, Tiepolo, Guardi, and to focuse, in the meanwhile, fascinating stories and figures of collectors and merchants over three centuries.
