Pop Art – irreverent and ironic, but also caustic and crical towards the consumer society, was born in US in the the 1960s, endorsing a new way of conceiving the work of art.
The exhibition includes more than forty works by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Jim Dine, Robert Rauschenberg and many other leading players of this movement, all coming from the Sonnabend Collection. The guided tour among them retraces one of the most iconic period in the twentieth century imagination
